Client Case Study: Light Spring Louise
Meet Louise, our gorgeous Rise Styling Color Kit: Digital Edition client! She has many classic signs of the Summer season: light hair, light eyes, fair skin. We’ll even see in the case study below that some Summer colors are quite nice on her.
Without thorough comparison of photos taken in controlled conditions and standardized materials, Louise might be wearing Summer colors to this day. She’d be missing out on the fullest expression of her unique beauty that aligns with the Spring season.
She’d be compensating with makeup (you’ll see she needs NONE in her Spring colors!).
She’s be blaming herself for looking tired, feeling dissatisfied with her wardrobe, and skin imperfections that aren’t actually there.
Scroll on to see EXACTLY what we saw in her analysis. Remember, never draw conclusions based on a single color. Proper color analysis identifies complexion patterns and season correlations through repeated, systematic comparisons:
We noticed that Emerald Green from the Winter season looked quite nice on Louise. This prompts us to further compare similar greens to see if we can confirm a Spring version of Emerald is preferable.
Below: notice the differences between 1. Emerald (Winter), 2. Light Emerald Turquoise (Light Spring), 3. Emerald Turquoise (Bright Spring), and 4. Bright True Green (Warm Spring).
Throughout every image set, Autumn and Winter are both consistently misaligned with Louise’s beauty. Those were the first two seasons to be eliminated from consideration.
I’m sure you noticed that some of the Summer colors still look rather nice, appearing balanced and cohesive, but not as illuminating as Spring. When we see a partial alignment with one season and full alignment with another season, we can draw a few conclusions.
She is in full alignment with Spring. While every Spring color may not be her personal favorite color, or a logical choice for every use case in her closet, the drapes don’t lie: she’s a Spring!
When we see a Spring with partial alignment with Summer, we then take a look at the lightest colors in Spring and check for a WOW factor. Here is Louise in a few of the Light Spring drapes from the Color Kit:
Enough said. Her inner spotlight is switched ALL THE WAY on!
Light Springs are Springs through and through, and shine in any combination of Spring colors they choose. The magic of the Light Spring colors comes into play when Louise chooses them for a high-impact, solid-colored piece such as an evening gown, jumpsuit, winter coat, or matching workout set. These are her one-and-done colors that will serve her with undying devotion for life.
